The Ohio Chapter 10 of the Blue Knights International Motorcycle Club is part of one of the largest motorcycle clubs in the world. We have 19,000 members in 650 chapters in 29 nations. Blue Knights have donated over $17.5 million in cash and goods to charity. Membership is open to Law Enforcement Officers that are licensed to ride and own a personal motorcycle.
The Ohio X chapter was chartered in 1980 and has had anywhere from 20 to 50 members since then. We currently have 25 working or retired members from 13 local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. See the list of members and the departments they work for or are retired from at the Membership page.
Our club identity is positive, untarnished, and well known. We are police officers, sheriff deputies, state troopers, park rangers, and other government commissioned law enforcement officers and agents that love riding motorcycles. Members can ride a bike of their choosing, and are not mandated to riding an American made motorcycle (ie. Harley Davidson).
We do not have a probationary period for members, or prospects, and qualified women are equal in our organization not only as members, but in leadership positions locally and internationally within the Blue Knights. Your career choice qualifies you to join. We have a good time while obeying and upholding the law. The Blue Knights is a family oriented club where our spouses, kids or friends are encouraged to ride along, participate in events and join in on the spirit of friendship and camaraderie! There are 24 local chapters throughout Ohio. Our Chapter is formed around the Toledo Metro area. We generally schedule a minimum of 1 chapter ride and a breakfast meeting each summer month. We also have an annual Summer picnic and an annual Winter Holiday Dinner. Participation in rides and events is completely optional. We were also one of the yearly sponsors of the Keith Dressel Memorial Ride.
If you are a Law Enforcement officer interested in joining, or want more information about the Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club membership requirements, visit our membership page or get in touch with an Ohio Chapter X officer.

Blue Knights are pledged to act with honor and pride to promote motorcycling and motorcycle safety by being an example of the safe use, operation, and enjoyment of motorcycles. They work at all times to improve the relationship between the motorcycling law enforcement community and the general public. The fraternal spirit guides them in relating to other Blue Knights.
